The pandemic’s impacts are not equally distributed among all of us. Communities of color are experiencing higher rates of illness and death. Employment, housing, and health care access inequities exacerbate these impacts. As funders develop strategies for supporting child care, it is important for equity to be front and center. This report from CLASP outlines how the pandemic is impacting providers and parents and potential policy solutions that will increase access and affordability while ensuring children and providers’ health and safety.
