As part of our series on unrestricted cash for parents, we interview Karina Jimenez Lewis from The Annie E. Casey Foundation about tax credits for families, especially the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit (CTC). Casey has invested in tax policy advocacy and analysis infrastructure nationwide. Our interview covers what Karina’s learned through ups and downs of both federal and state tax credits.
